About me
My name is Lauren (Lola) Faulds. I am a social worker out of Milwaukee, WI, but I was looking for a hobby. Years ago, I was at a fundraiser and bid on a bead kit. I won the kit and started making jewelry here and there for family and friends. Fast forward to this past year, I was diagnosed with a chronic condition and was not able to do much. I started beading more frequently and then thought of shrinky dinks. I made a pair of earrings out of shrinky dinks and then a few others out of beads and wire. A friend thought they were well done and that I should try selling them. So here I am!
Thank you for your support. -Lola Nicole
Unique and individually made
Most of the earrings I make are unique and individually made from beads I find at stores, bead shows, and online. Meaning that I do not buy most of them in bulk. Some beads I am able to buy in larger amounts so I make multiples of those (mostly the fruit earrings). Mostly dangly earrings and some studs. I use a variety of gold, silver, bronze, and black wire. I make some hand-painted shrinky dink earrings using the shrinkable paper, paint markers, and sealed with a clear coat.
If an earring is sold out but you were interested in the design, I can probably make something very similar!
Design process
I mostly come up with designs for earrings on my own. Sometimes I will look to Pinterest and Etsy for inspiration. I try to determine which wire color will look best with each bead.
Our promise
I try to make sure there is something for everybody! Whether you like a dark matte look or a colorful shiny style. I hope you feel even more beautiful when you wear my earrings.
